Robert Redford Surprise Dessert by Claudia March
Need: 1- 13x9 1/2 " pan
Ingredients: 1 Cup Flour
1 Stick Margarine (Soften)
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1-(8oz) package Cream Cheese (Soften)
1 Cup Confectioner's Sugar
1 (12oz) Cool Whip
2 (4.5 serving) Instant Chocolate Pudding
Topping: If preferred may place some chopped nuts and grated Baker's Chocolate on the last layer of this dessert.
Preheat oven to 350 deg.
Cream together 1 cup flour with 1 stick of softened margarine
Place this mixture into the bottom of the 13/9 1/2 " pan. Press mixture to bottom of pan with your hand
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until brown Let crust cool for a while after taking from the oven.
Mix together 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 1 cup confectioner's sugar and 1/2 container Cool Whip and spread over crust.
Mix 2-(4.5) serving packages Jell-o Instant pudding with 3 cups of milk. Spread this mixture over the cream cheese.
Spread the rest of the Cool Whip over top of the pudding mixture and top with some nuts or you may grate some Baker's Chocolate on top.
Enjoy--delicious. My mother-in-law introduced this dessert to us and this was always a family favorite with all.
