Ethel Bond Coffee Cake by Jane Dean

Ethel Bond Coffee Cake

Cake:
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
1 pint sour cream
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla

3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt

Topping:
¾ cup sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add sour cream and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each egg is added. Add vanilla.

Stir dry ingredients together and add to first mixture.  Grease a half-sheet pan and pour batter evenly into pan.

Mix topping together and sprinkle evenly over entire cake. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
